Christof Kandel

Meet Our General Manager

General Manager, Christof Kandel, began his career at Textron Aviation in 2018 as Director, Parts & Distribution, Europe before moving to his current role in October 2020.

Christof’s prior experience in logistics and distribution includes 10 years in research at the FOM University of Applied Sciences for Economics and Management in Essen, Germany, and procurement and logistics roles at Siemens and Airberlin Technik where he gained extensive leadership experience. Christof also has a Master’s degree from the University of Duisburg-Essen in Mechanical Engineering and Management.

The Textron Aviation Düsseldorf and Prague Service Centers offer a full maintenance service for our customers including ‘Continuing Airworthiness Management Organization’ (CAMO) services.

COMPREHENSIVE MAINTENANCE

Düsseldorf Service Centre inspects, repairs, modifies and upgrades your aircraft’s vital components — including engines, airframes and avionics. We even handle insurance claims.

INTERIORS & EXTERIORS

Restore your cabin with new upholstery, carpet, sidewalls and veneer. We also have a mobile paint station for refreshing your aircraft’s outside appearance.

PARTS & DISTRIBUTION

Düsseldorf is home to Textron Aviation’s second-largest parts distribution centre. We carry more than 25,000 SKUs with 96% of parts in stock shipping the same day your order. Get them fast and factory-direct – whenever and wherever you need them.

PART-NCC COMPLIANCE

Part-NCC requires private aircraft operators to comply with similar regulations as commercial operators. We familiarise you with those regulations, guide you through the compliance process and help you develop the necessary manuals.

CAMO SERVICES

As a CAMO facility, we maintain the airworthiness of your aircraft. This includes managing inspections and associated paperwork, planning and coordinating maintenance, and solving maintenance issues with OEMs.
