JOB SUMMARY:

Under general supervision from the Lead, perform a variety of duties involving aircraft parts, raw materials, shop supply receiving, issuing, handling, and accounting for inventory stock.  Might also be responsible for a variety of duties in material handling, pulling parts from production runs, or pull sheets generated by inventory system. 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Pull aircraft parts and deliver to shop floor for active jobs and upcoming work requirements in production flow.
  • Build kits.
  • Inventory Cycle counts and inventory audits.
  • Rectify inventory variances.
  • Confirms that delivered goods match purchase orders specifications of quantity, condition, part number and serial number.
  • Conducts daily cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy and weekly audit quota.
  • Organize & maintain inventory locations for efficient material storage and handling.
  • Efficiently pick customer & Facilities orders, ensuring that the correct number and type of product is delivered.

JOB SUMMARY:

To repair, maintain, overhaul, and troubleshoot airframes, engine systems, parts, and components. Performs 100 hour and progressive inspections as well as modification work on customer aircraft.  This position requires travel within the specific region.  When not traveling, will be working at the designated Service Center. 

To identify and correct the more unusual and difficult work on malfunctioning jet, turboprop and reciprocating multiengine aircraft mechanical components and systems. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

·       Performs a variety of diagnostic and mechanical duties on one or more jet, turboprop, and piston multi-engine aircraft models involving diagnoses of malfunctions and required disassembly, rework, repair, replacement, reassembly, or adjustment of various aircraft systems to prepare aircraft mechanically for flight and delivery to customer. Requires thorough knowledge of aircraft engines, mechanical systems, and components on all assigned aircraft.

o   Checks, corrects, or replaces a variety of complex aircraft assemblies, landing gear systems, air conditioner system, pressurization system, turbocharges, and optional equipment installations.

o   Repairs or replaces engine components and accessory items such as carburetors, fuel control units, fuel injection system, air bleed system, oil and fuel pumps, starter/generators, and hydraulic and vacuum pumps.

o   Requires knowledge of 100 hour, annual and progressive inspection procedures set forth in FAR 43. Performs modification work on aircraft systems and structures. Performs minor upholstery and touch-up type paint work.

·        Responsible for clear, concise, and accurate written reports in logs, inspection reports and in parts identification for issue and return documents.

·        Conducts functional checks, engine test runs, instrument tests and alignment, and preventive maintenance on same. Rigging, synchronizing of throttles, and setting the stops.

·        May be required to observe operation of mechanical systems during flight and troubleshoot problems for in-shop repairs.

·        Performs duties in a manner consistent with the latest state of the art and highest standards of safety for maintaining aircraft in the most airworthy and reliable condition for the customers' safety.

·        Uses tensiometers, micrometers, pressure gauges, dial gauges, vacuum gauges, timing lights, and a variety of hand tools to repair and modify systems or assemblies.

·        Responsible for guiding and instructing 1 or 2 lower classification helpers 50% or more of the time.

·        Must be able to obtain and maintain an Airport Security Badge through the local airport authority (if applicable).

What you will be doing as a Fuel Cell Sealer: 

In this role, you can expect to assemble and seal integral fuel cells with precision and care. You’ll have the opportunity to work alongside experienced sealers, gaining valuable hands-on experience.  

Your responsibilities may include (but are not limited to): 

  • Fuel Cell Preparation & Sealing: Perform various sealing operations on aircraft fuel cells, following standard procedures and instructions taught in Textron Aviation’s Fuel Cell Sealing Training course 
  • Sheet Metal Assembly: Assemble wing fuel cells, including drilling, countersinking, fitting, trimming, and riveting, ensuring all parts are properly cleaned before sealing 
  • Leak Testing: Test assembled wings by applying air and ammonia solution under pressure to check for leaks 
  • Rework & Quality Assurance: Perform rework by removing old sealant, re-cleaning, and re-sealing to meet specifications and prevent leaks 
  • Tool Utilization: Use various sheet metal hand and power tools, along with sealing tools like spatulas, scrapers, rollers, sealing guns, fairing tools, and durometers

JOB SUMMARY:

JOB SUMMARY:

To power bend or hand bend a wide variety of sizes and shapes of tubes and/or perform cutting, deburring, flaring, and pressure testing of hoses and tubes. May be required to work with higher grade operators while in training.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  •  he operations consist of planning and performing tube bending operations on NC tube bending equipment or manually operated tube bending equipment.
    •  Requires the ability to duplicate tube patterns, plan equipment set ups, make adjustments and check parts.

  • Checks all cure dates on hoses and the inside and outside diameters to determine if hoses meet requirements. Visually inspects hoses and assemble during each step of assemble to ensure Textron Aviation standards.

JOB SUMMARY:

Support the DFM (Design for Manufacturing) Technology Center by executing measurement-related projects that provide process capabilities of details, assemblies, and aircraft in the Textron Aviation Production System. Operate advanced metrology equipment and software in support of root cause investigations, reverse engineering, and process capability.  Coordinate with design teams to provide dimensional management plans throughout the design and build process. This includes advanced variation sequence, variation analysis, detail part datum generation, and tooling index strategies. Collaborate with Product Design Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Tooling, and Value Stream Leaders/Managers to support experimental and production root cause corrective actions.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

·       Troubleshoot and conduct root cause analysis, providing solutions for design-related, tooling, or manufacturing-related issues during the experimental and production build process.

JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for the administration, implementation, and coordination of In-house and In-draw transition projects.  Forecasts staffing, budgets, facility needs, new technology investment and tooling to support company objectives.  Guides a team composed of multiple disciplines to ensure projects meets performance requirements as well as customer expectations.  Manages the overall scope, schedule, and budget performance of the project.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

•    Manage an integrated, cross-functional team from various disciplines, establish the transition plan with internal customer(s) buy in, establish project expectations and milestones, and execution of the activities to successfully transfer the statement of work within budget and on schedule
•    Oversee the analysis, planning, shipment, fabrication, and inspection phases throughout project execution

• Assists with material reservations for bulk material and ordering replacement parts as required.
• Assists with out-time tracking and batch management for all applicable materials on shop floor
and on kits that have been started. Prepares necessary samples for shelf life maintenance.
• When necessary coordinate with Material Requirements Planner on the release of orders and/or
order splits.
• Provide daily metrics for build schedules to each assigned area to meet production schedule
needs. Participate in Andon walks as required and research all issues to ensure that

• Assure proper receipt of items defined by Purchase Order agreements and order confirmations in
SAP.

• Coordinates receiving activities with other interacting departments as required assuring proper
receipt action and conformance to procedural requirements.
• Unpackage received articles and verifies article is listed correctly on accompanying paperwork,
and the article(s) matches the packing sheet description.
• Uses some judgment in inspecting the received articles for damage. Re-packages as required for
movement to the next receiving position.
• Moves the article to the next operation in accordance with the receiving report, router slip, or
other accompanying paperwork.
• Operates all applicable material handling equipment and some measuring devices as required to
verify receipts are as listed on the packing sheet.

·        Directs the activities of Aircraft and Avionics Inspectors, ensuring that their work, as well as the work performed by Service Center Maintenance Technicians, meets the technical quality standards defined by various specifications and regulations.

·        Ensures that the FAA 14 CFR part 145 Repair Station requirements, FAA Safety Management System (SMS), and ISO9002 Quality System is established, implemented and maintained in accordance with the applicable procedures Manual and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).

·        Reports actual quality performance as defined by SMS Safety Assurance and risk assessment procedures as required to the General Manager and the Director, Global Compliance and Quality.

·        Ensures the proper submission of reports of defects or unairworthy conditions in accordance with FAR 145.63.

·        Reviews, risks, and coordinates action on any “Maintenance Continuous Improvement” (MCI) reports generated.

·        Reports to the General Manager and Director, Global Compliance and Quality quarterly on the performance of the Quality System for purposes of review and as a basis for improvement of the Quality System.

JOB SUMMARY:

Mobile Service Technicians (MST) will focus on the maintenance activities and work scope of Customer aircraft. Will identify and correct issues on malfunctioning aircraft mechanical components and systems. Performs a variety of diagnostic and mechanical duties on Jet aircraft and assist with the scheduling and coordination of the work of others in the crew. Will assist the MST Lead Mechanic including coordinating and communicating aircraft issues with the Customer to include reviewing the work scope with Customers, adding squawks as required, respond to Customer inquiries and be responsible for assuring Customer satisfaction by coordinating with the Service Center Team. Will assist the MST Lead Mechanic with overseeing the maintenance of the mobile service vehicle ensuring vehicle is properly serviced and roadworthy at all times.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure that the work scope is completed in a timely manner and work performed is done in accordance with established policy, procedure, and quality standards. Performs a variety of diagnostic and mechanical duties on one or more aircraft models involving diagnosis of malfunctions and required disassembly, rework, repair, replacement, reassembly or adjustment of various aircraft systems to prepare aircraft mechanically for flight and delivery to Customer. Requires thorough knowledge of aircraft engines, mechanical systems, and components on all assigned aircraft.
    1. Checks, corrects, or replaces a variety of complex aircraft assemblies, landing gear systems, air conditioner system, pressurization system, and optional equipment installations.
    2. Orders and obtains parts necessary to effect aircraft repairs. Assures that cores are returned in accordance with established procedure.
    3. Requires knowledge of inspection procedures set forth in FAR Part 145.  Responsible for insuring documentation procedures are accomplished as required in FAR 43 and all other applicable FARs.
    4. Responsible for clear, concise, and accurate written reports in logs, inspection reports, and in parts identification for issue and return documents.
    5. Ensures that all maintenance, preventive maintenance, alterations, or specialized services performed are in accordance with the Inspection System procedures as outlined in the Quality Control manual. 
  • May be required to observe operation of mechanical systems during flight and troubleshoot problems for in-shop repairs.
  • Responsible for communicating safety expectations of the Service Center.
    1. Monitors the work environment to assure it is maintained in a safe and orderly condition.

  • Works as a member of a team focused on meeting customer expectations requiring mechanics and avionic technicians to assist each other as required. 
  • Assists the Lead MST to ensure that all equipment and tooling with the mobile service vehicle are inspected, properly maintained and/or serviced as required to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  • Assists the Lead MST ensuring the mobile service vehicle is in safe operating condition, all fluid levels are at proper levels, tire pressures are correct, wiper blades, hoses, tires, etc are all inspected, repaired or replaced as required.
  • Must obtain a Textron-issued driver license and possess valid state-issued driver license. Both are required to operate Company-owned vehicles or vehicles under Textron control.

What you will be doing as a Technical Service Manager: 

In this role, you can expect to be the main point of contact for all aircraft maintenance, ensuring smooth hangar operations and supporting the maintenance manager. You’ll work in a team environment providing crucial updates to the Customer Service Manager to help maintain positive relationships with customers. As a supervisor, you’ll lead a team of technicians within the service center. 

Your responsibilities may include (but are not limited to): 

  • Lean Manufacturing: Implement lean processes aiming to reduce waste and improve productivity (focusing on the5S method) and coordinating Area Team Development events 
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure work meets established policies, procedures, and quality standards to help maintain customer safety and satisfaction 
  • Safety & Efficiency: Oversee safety protocols, quality control, schedule adherence, and overall efficiency at the Service Center, ensuring a safe and productive environment 
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze shop performance metrics (LUE, Billing Efficiency, Productivity, schedule adherence) with the Maintenance Manager to identify trends and implement corrective actions 
  • Team Supervision: Assign and realign team tasks, provide coaching, conduct evaluations, manage disciplinary actions, and collaborate with team members regarding working conditions and ergonomic opportunities 
  • Customer Follow-Up: Resolve post-delivery issues, address Maintenance Visit Performance Evaluation concerns, and ensure all open issues involving parts or return maintenance are resolved promptly 

What you need to be successful: 

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or in lieu of degree a minimum of 5 years aircraft maintenance experience and/or relative supervisory experience required 
  • A&P License is required 
  • A Repairman Certificate/EASA License is helpful

What you will be doing as an Aircraft Parts Buffer: 

In this role, you can expect to set up and operate a variety of motorized equipment, hand tools, and holding fixtures to buff and polish aircraft components. You'll master techniques and polishes on all metal alloys to meet high appearance standards. Additionally, you’ll enhance our collaborative and efficient work environment by assisting lower grade operators as needed. 

Your responsibilities may include (but are not limited to): 

  • Operate Buffing Equipment: Set up and operate motor-driven wire brushes, cloth wheels, and abrasive-coated wheels using various buffing compounds to achieve required finishes 
  • Polish Components: Polish steel parts to meet specifications before electroplating, ensuring close tolerances 
  • Plan and Perform Buffing: Develop methods to hold various shapes and sizes of parts against buffing wheels to obtain desired finishes 
  • Scratch Removal: Use learned techniques to buff out scratches and polish parts to acceptable finish standards

·         Evaluates inspection records, reports, forms, and procedures for compliance to Quality standards.

·         Uses Textron and Vendor Maintenance Manuals, Illustrated Parts Manual, Structural Repair Manuals, Wiring Diagrams, EEDS/DDS, and other approved technical publications.

·         Develops familiarity with Required Inspection Item (RII) requirements, part 135 requirements and understands the requirements and use of the Master Equipment List (MEL).

Performs a variety of diagnostic and mechanical duties on one or more aircraft models involving diagnosis of malfunctions and required disassembly, rework, repair, replacement, reassembly, or adjustment of various aircraft systems to prepare aircraft mechanically for flight and delivery to Customer. Requires thorough knowledge of aircraft engines, mechanical systems, and components on all assigned aircraft.
    • Checks, corrects, or replaces a variety of complex aircraft assemblies, landing gear systems, air conditioner system, pressurization system, and optional equipment installations.
    • Orders and obtains parts necessary to effect aircraft repairs. Assures that cores are returned in accordance with established procedure.
    • Requires knowledge of inspection procedures set forth in FAR Part 145.  Responsible for insuring documentation procedures are accomplished as required in FAR 43 and all other applicable FARs.
    • Responsible for clear, concise, and accurate written reports in logs, inspection reports, and in parts identification for issue and return documents.
    • Ensures that all maintenance, preventive maintenance, alterations, or specialized services performed are in accordance with the Inspection System procedures as outlined in the Quality Control manual. 
  • May be required to observe operation of mechanical systems during flight and troubleshoot problems for in-shop repairs.
  • Responsible for communicating safety expectations of the Service Center.
    • Monitors the work environment to assure it is maintained in a safe and orderly condition.

  • Assists the Lead MST to ensure that all equipment and tooling with the mobile service vehicle are inspected, properly maintained and/or serviced as required to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  • Assists the Lead MST ensuring the mobile service vehicle is in safe operating condition, all fluid levels are at proper levels, tire pressures are correct, wiper blades, hoses, tires, etc. are all inspected, repaired, or replaced as required.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
•    Analyzes manufacturing processes, tooling methodology, discrete manufacturing operations and associated time standards to be used to produce new parts/assemblies from detail component fabrication thru job-level installation; maintains process plans for shop floor methods/work instructions.

You can expect to craft cabinets of Textron Aviation aircraft while supporting the installation, refurbishment or modification of various interiors alongside other maintenance tasks.

The Aftermarket Programs Engineer will be responsible for working directly with our flight training device customers to resolve issues on the flight training device in a timely manner.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

5. Conducts functional checks, engine test runs, instrument tests and alignment, and preventive maintenance on same. Rigging, synchronizing of throttles, and setting the stops.

Job Summary:

This position requires the preparation and layup of precut composite materials into assembly components 
in accordance with process specifications. This position also requires the preparation of small to large 
layup assemblies for the curing process. May be required to assist higher grade Technicians.

Job Responsibilities:
• Works from specifications, blueprints, oral and written instructions to record pertinent adhesive 
information, form and lay-up component parts and assemblies such as fiberglass, graphite, and 
Kevlar in proper relationship according to standard shop practices where tooling and holding 
fixtures are usually available, and to perform a variety of operations necessary to prepare 
composite parts and assemblies for autoclave or oven curing process. Requires the ability to plan 
and perform a sequence of operations where standard lay-up methods are available. Must 
comply with the different parts configuration and geometry when laying up composite assemblies. 
• Selects proper holding fixtures, bonding materials, proper size bleeders, bagging materials, and 
specified materials. Fit and align component parts in proper sequence and specific location in 
bond fixture. Uses care to avoid contamination of surfaces from foreign substances such as dust

  • Performs a variety of diagnostic and mechanical duties on one or more jet and/or turboprop, aircraft models involving diagnoses of malfunctions and required disassembly, rework, repair, replacement, reassembly or adjustment of various aircraft systems to prepare aircraft mechanically for flight and delivery to customer

     

  • Checks, corrects or replaces a variety of complex aircraft assemblies, landing gear systems, air conditioner system, pressurization system, and optional equipment installations

     

  • Repairs or replaces engine components and accessory items such as fuel control units, air bleed system, oil and fuel pumps, starter/generators, and hydraulic pumps

     

  • Requires knowledge of annual and progressive inspection procedures set forth in aircraft maintenance manuals

     

  • Performs modification work on aircraft systems and structures

     

  • Responsible for clear, concise and accurate written reports in logs, inspection reports and in parts identification for issue and return documents

     

  • Conducts functional checks, engine test runs, instrument tests and alignment, and preventive maintenance on same

     

  • Performs duties in a manner consistent with the latest state of the art and highest standards of safety for maintaining aircraft in the most airworthy and reliable condition for the customers' safety

  • Uses tensiometers, micrometers, pressure gauges, dial gauges, vacuum gauges, and a variety of hand tools to repair and modify systems or assemblies
