WICHITA, Kan. (July 1, 2011) – Hawker Beechcraft Corporation (HBC) today announced its participation in the 50th Anniversary Canadian Business Aviation Association (CBAA) convention on July 6-7, 2011, at the Calgary International Airport in Alberta, Canada. HBC will display several of its leading Hawker and Beechcraft products, as well as its Hawker 200 mock-up at Static Display #3.
“Canada continues to be a strong market for our Hawker business jets and we are pleased to be able to showcase our Hawker 900XP and Hawker 200 mock-up at the show this year,” said Richard Emery, president, Americas Jet Sales. “The King Air models are also popular in the region due to their exceptional fuel efficiency and payload/range capabilities needed for the vast intracontinental missions.”
HBC’s full scale Hawker 200 interior concept mock-up features an innovative layout that has been optimized for the light jet mission. The mock-up is an impressive display of potential future Hawker styling and an important tool for HBC to gather specific feedback on customer desires in the new Hawker 200 interior. Its high strength, state-of-the-art all-composite fuselage makes the Hawker 200 the most technologically advanced single-pilot business jet in the world.
In addition to the Hawker 200 mock-up, the following products will be on display at CBAA 2011:
