Medical Insurance

Textron offers various United Healthcare medical plan options. Employees can enroll upon hire, starting day one.

ELIGIBILITY: Salary Exempt, Salary Non-Exempt and Bargained employees scheduled to work at least 20 hours a week.

Pharmacy Benefits

Pharmacy benefits are included as part of Textron's medical plan coverage. With Textron's Pharmacy Exclusive Choice Network, employees can receive discounts and certain generic maintenance medications at no cost.

ELIGIBILITY: Salary Exempt, Salary Non-Exempt and Bargained employees enrolled in Textron's health plans.

Dental Insurance

Textron offers two dental plans to employees: MetLife® PPO and CIGNA DHMO. The MetLife® PPO has a larger network of dentists and dental specialists, while the Cigna DHMO has a limited network and geographic requirements to be enrolled.

ELIGIBILITY: Salary Exempt, Salary Non-Exempt and Bargained employees scheduled to work at least 20 hours a week. Additional eligibility requirements may apply.

Vision Insurance

Textron's vision plan is through EyeMed. The plan offers numerous discounts on prescription eyeglasses, non-prescription sunglasses and exams. Coverage level depends on whether you use a network provider.

ELIGIBILITY: Salary Exempt, Salary Non-Exempt and Bargained employees scheduled to work at least 20 hours a week.

Virtual Doctor Visits

Employees enrolled in Textron's United HealthCare or Bind coverage can see and speak to an online, in-network doctor anytime from their mobile device via phone, chat or video with convenient flexible scheduling. This is convenient for common, non-emergent health issues.

ELIGIBILITY: Salary Exempt, Salary Non-Exempt and Bargained employees that are enrolled in Textron's UHC or Bind health insurance plans.

Health Savings Accounts (HSA)

Textron offers various United Healthcare and Bind medical plan options. A Health Savings Account is a pre-tax savings account for those enrolled in a high deductible health plan as defined by the IRS.

ELIGIBILITY: Salary Exempt, Salary Non-Exempt and Bargained employees enrolled in a Textron high deductible health plan. Additional eligibility requirements may apply.

Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA)

As part of your benefit plans, you have the option to enroll in either a medical or dependent care FSA. A medical FSA is a pre-tax account that you can use to pay for eligible medical, dental and vision care expenses that aren't covered by your health plan. A dependence care FDA is a pre-tax account that you can use to pay for day care, childcare, nursery school, preschool, summer day camps, and adult day care.

ELIGIBILITY: Salary Exempt, Salary Non-Exempt and Bargained employees, in addition with plan eligibility requirements.

Progyny

Employees and spouses enrolled in a Textron-sponsored medical plan have fertility solutions available and integrated into their medical plans. Treatment options may include IVF, intrauterine insemination, egg and sperm freezing, and more. Participants have access to a dedicated Patient Care Advocate (PCA), whose support includes emotional care and coordination of treatments and appointments.

Plane Healthy Wellbeing Program

Plane Healthy Wellness Center & Pharmacy

The Plane Healthy Wellness Center and Pharmacy provides affordable, high-quality, on-site wellness and pharmacy service to employees and their dependents, making access to vital care quick and convenient. The comprehensive care you've been waiting for is conveniently located on Textron Aviation's west Wichita campus. Inclusive of the most important health needs, on-site services include: Primary care, urgent care, pharmacy with drive-through access, physical therapy, radiology, mental health services and wellness coaching.

ELIGIBILITY: Salary Exempt, Salary Non-Exempt, Bargained employees, as well as spouses, domestic partners and dependents (two years or older) of employees.

Plane Healthy Wellbeing Platform

The Plane Healthy Wellbeing Platform is a partnership between Textron Aviation and WebMD Health Services to help you bring out your best. The Plane Healthy Wellbeing Platform includes a suite of tools to help you reach your wellbeing goals, all backed by WebMD, a trusted online source of health information. Employees have the opportunity to earn up to $200 annually in gift cards and merchandise, participate in wellbeing challenges, participate in free one-on-one coaching sessions and utilize WebMD's educational materials.

Garmin Discounts

Textron Aviation is pleased to help our employees achieve their goals through our partnership with Garmin. Employees are eligible for preferred pricing on up to two Garmin products and two accessories annually.

Gym Subsidies and Discounts

HOYA Safety Glasses Allowance

Textron Aviation places great emphasis on providing a safe working environment for our employees, and everyone is encouraged to be diligent about safety in everything we do. To ensure our employees have the equipment they need to be safe, Textron Aviation partners with HOYA to offer all U.S.-based employees a $150 allowance on prescription safety glasses.

ELIGIBILITY: This offer is available to all U.S.-based employees whose roles require safety glasses.

Retirement

Textron Savings Plan & Company Match

The Textron Savings Plan (TSP) is a savings vehicle to help employees reach their retirement goals. As a participant in the plan, you can save a percentage of your pay through convenient payroll deductions while benefiting from tax advantages. Textron offers an incentive for you to save through the Textron Savings Plan and to help you reach your retirement goals, by making contributions to your plan account that "match" a portion of the amount you contribute. Company match vests on a schedule over five years.

ELIGIBILITY: Salary Exempt, Salary Non-Exempt and Bargained employees that are scheduled to work 1,000 hours annually can enroll in the TSP. To receive the company match, employees must be enrolled in the TSP.

TSP Plus

The TSP Plus provides for an additional annual contribution to an employee's TSP that is equal to 4% of eligible compensation. Employees must be employed on 12/31 of each year to be eligible for the contribution for that year. It is important to note that only employees who are not currently accruing benefits under a Defined Benefit pension plan or the legacy Beechcraft® RISP program are eligible to receive this TSP Plus benefit. Company match vests on a schedule over five years.

ELIGIBILITY: Salary Exempt, Salary Non-Exempt and Bargained employees enrolled in a TSP that are not currently accruing benefits under a Defined Benefit pension plan or the legacy Beechcraft® RISP program.

Fidelity Investements® Consultations

Fidelity Investments® provides free guidance and consultations from experienced representatives to employees regarding their financial and retirement inquiries.

Income Protection

NortonLifeLock™

NortonLifeLock™ specializes in identity theft protection, restoration of funds and online security. Employees have the option to sign up for one of the two discounted NortonLifeLock™ plans. You are able to sign up for employee-only or family coverage.

ELIGIBILITY: Salary Exempt, Salary Non-Exempt and Bargained employees

Short Term Disability (STD)

If an employee takes a medical leave of absence and qualifies for STD, Textron Aviation will provide STD that covers up to 50% of their regular base salary, up to $450 a week, for up to 12 weeks.

ELIGIBILITY: Salary Non-Exempt and Bargained employees who qualify for STD.

Salary Continuation

If an employee has an approved Family Medical Leave (FML) claim for themselves and will be on a medical leave of absence, Textron Aviation will provide salary continuation that covers 100% of their base salary for up to 13 weeks and then 60% of their salary for the following 13 weeks.

ELIGIBILITY: Salary Exempt employees with a qualifying medical leave of absence.

Long Term Disability (LTD)

Different versions of LTD are available depending on employee type. If an employee qualifies for LTD and has elected it (if applicable), this benefit will cover up to 60% of base pay, up to age 65. Maximum benefit amounts apply. The waiting period before LTD benefits begin varies based on the type of coverage.

ELIGIBILITY: Salary Exempt, Salary Non-Exempt and Bargained employees who qualify for LTD.

Life Insurance & Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance

All Textron Aviation employees receive company-provided basic life insurance & Accidental Death and Dismemberment insurance for free. Coverage amounts depend on employee type.

ELIGIBILITY: Salary Exempt, Salary Non-Exempt and Bargained employees

MetLife® Will Preparation Service

If an employee is enrolled in Supplemental Life Insurance through Textron MetLife® Benefits, they can receive free Will preparation services through MetLife® legal plans. The Will preparation services offer a variety of services for employees, their spouses and cover the participating plan attorney's fees.

ELIGIBILITY: Salary Exempt, Salary Non-Exempt and Bargained employees

College Scholarships

The Textron Charitable Trust sponsors scholarships through the National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC). The scholarships are per year for up to four years of undergraduate study.

When you or your family need useful ideas, helpful resources, or reliable professional care, LifeMatters is just a phone call away. They offer a variety of services that include free, confidential telephone and face-to face assistance with stress, depression, balancing work and personal needs, family and relationship concerns, alcohol or drug dependency and much more. LifeMatters also offers assistance with elder and child care planning, adoption assistance, financial consultations, legal consultations, personal security, convenience services, pet services, and educational resources.

Talkspace

Connect with a licensed therapist via text, voice or online. Get online therapy for many concerns including anxiety, depression, PTSD, compulsive disorder, ADD/ADHD, issues related to LGBTQ+ and more. Talkspace will submit claims to United Healthcare accordingly and claims will be processed through your health plan. One week of unlimited messaging is equivalent to one in-person behavioral health visit.

This line provides 24/7 live support for concerns such as stress, anxiety, work/life issues and more. It is staffed by behavioral health specialists who will be able to assist members in setting up appointments with a mental health professional. They will provide personalized, confidential emotional support tailored to your situation, including recommendations for ongoing care based on your behavioral health benefits.

Textron Aviation offers a variety of holiday time off throughout the year for employees.

Earned Time Off/Sick Leave

Textron Aviation employees have personal or sick leave available to them. This time is accrued depending on employee type and years of service.

Military Leave

Textron Aviation supports all employees serving in the military with a Military Leave of Absence. If eligible, employees on this type of leave can receive differential pay with an approved Leave Earnings Statement.

Family Medical Leave

Textron Aviation eligible employees are entitled to Family Medical Leave (FML) in accordance with FMLA regulations. This allows eligible employees up to 12 weeks of unpaid job-protected leave within a 12-month period. Note: Childbirth is processed through FMLA as medical leave.

Bereavement Leave

Textron Aviation offers up to three regularly scheduled days of paid leave for the death of a family member.
