GENEVA, Switzerland (May 15, 2012) – Hawker Beechcraft Corporation (HBC) today announced a new order for six Beechcraft King Air 350i turboprops from Hawker Pacific, a leading sales and product support company throughout the Asia Pacific region. The order was received today at the 2012 European Business Aviation Convention and Exhibition (EBACE) in Geneva, Switzerland. The sale builds on Hawker Pacific’s long-standing relationship with HBC and will support its growing commercial and special missions operations across Australia and Southeast Asia.
The six deliveries will be phased over the next three years, with the first delivery taking place later this year, three deliveries in 2013 and the final two aircraft being delivered in 2014.
“Hawker Pacific is a long-term partner of HBC and we are delighted that they have continued to put their faith in our aircraft with this significant order,” said Sean McGeough, HBC president, Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific. “This deal underlines the growing demand in Australia and Southeast Asia for state-of-the-art aviation – for both commercial and special mission use – and we are confident that these six King Air 350i turboprops will provide Hawker Pacific’s customers with unmatched value, fuel efficiency and comfort.”
